Do I need an account?
You do not need an account for a basic text-to-speech conversion less than 5000 characters.
How much text can I convert at once?
Guests can convert up to 5,000 characters at a time. Registered users on the free plan can convert upto 10,000 characters per conversion while all paid plans support 20,000 characters per conversion.
What are Standard, Enhanced and Ultra voices?
Read Aloud Text offers several voice-quality tiers. Standard voices provide clear, natural speech for everyday listening, while Enhanced and Ultra voices offer greater realism and expression for professional narration and content production.
Can I upload PDFs and other documents?
Yes. You can upload supported document formats such as PDF, DOCX and TXT instead of manually copying the text.
Can I share generated audio with other people?
Yes. Generated audio can be shared through a simple link. Anyone with the link can listen in the read-along player and follow the synchronized word highlighting without receiving the original document.
Do listeners need an account to open a shared audio link?
No. People with the link can open and listen to the shared audio without creating an account. This makes it easy to distribute a lesson, reading passage or study resource to an entire class or group.
Can I download the generated speech?
Yes. Generated speech can be downloaded as an MP3 for presentations, editing or offline listening. You can also listen directly through the online player.
What is Multi-Voice Studio?
Multi-Voice Studio lets you assign different AI voices to characters, speakers or sections within one project. It is designed for dialogue, podcasts, lessons, stories, scripts and audiobook-style narration.
What is Voice Cloning?
Voice cloning creates a reusable AI voice based on an authorized voice sample. It can help maintain a consistent sound across training material, videos, narration and branded content.
How do Credits work?
Credits are spent according to the number of characters converted and the voice tier selected. Standard voices use fewer credits, while higher-quality Enhanced and Ultra voices require more credits per character.
Is my text or document made public?
No. Uploaded text and documents are not publicly listed. Generated audio becomes accessible to other people only when you deliberately create and distribute a share link.
Can I use Read Aloud Text on a phone or tablet?
Yes. As Read Aloud Text runs online, it can be used through a modern browser on desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices.
